Union Hill ISD Bus Driver Named 2025–2026 PCAT Regional Bus Driver of the Year

Union Hill ISD is proud to announce that Stephanie Curnutt, one of its dedicated transportation staff members, has been recognized with the 2025–2026 PCAT Regional Bus Driver of the Year Award. This prestigious honor highlights the driver’s commitment to student safety, professionalism, and outstanding service to the district and community.

The award, presented by the Panhandle–Plains–Central Area Transportation (PCAT) organization, recognizes school bus drivers who demonstrate exceptional performance, a strong safety record, and a positive impact on the students they serve each day.

Union Hill ISD officials praised the driver for their dedication and reliability in ensuring that students are transported safely to and from school and school activities.

“School bus drivers play a vital role in our district,” said Union Hill ISD Superintendent John Booth. “Their commitment to safety, care for students, and professionalism on the road make a tremendous difference in the daily lives of our families. We are proud to see one of our own recognized at the regional level.”
