Friday March 28th, 3 students competed the District UIL Academic Meet at Avery, Texas. Jordyn Campbell competed in Lincoln Douglas Debate and Advanced to Regionals. She also competed in Persuasive Speaking and placed 2nd to advance to Regional. Beth Downs competed in Persuasive Speaking and placed 7th. Leyla Bramlet competed in Calculator Application and place 16th and placed 3rd in Persuasive Speaking Advancing to Regionals. Regional UIL Academics is April 26th in Plano, Texas. Congrats to these girls for getting up and going to an event on a Friday.
